About

Contrary to what Jesse Jackson said—I am nobody. Now I don’t mean that in any sort of self-deprecating way. I simply mean that I represent no school of thought, no religion, no creed, no nothing. I am just a youngish American who loves talking about the Big Stuff. I do not claim to know everything. A quick perusing of the blog makes that last comment seem like a bit of an understatement. Okay, enough of the self-loathing. I’m just your garden variety wonder-loving dreamer visionary. Wow. I don’t think I can get any more pretentious than that. Actually, throw an ‘auteur’ in there. Wonder-loving dreamer visionary auteur. There we go. I can dig that.

I just want people to start paying more attention to the everyday wonders of our universe. From birds chirping in the early morning to honeybees shopping for pollen in the mid-afternoon to the stars in the night sky. All this wonderment right outside your door and get this! It is recession-friendly entertainment! Last time I checked you didn’t have to pay admission plus convenience fee to look up at a full moon. So check out some of the crazy stuff on this blog and get yourself outside tonight. Look up at the cosmos and forget everything you think you know and just get lost. I’ll leave you with one of my favorite quotes. Take us home Mr. Bertrand Russell:

“Do not fear to be eccentric in opinion, for every opinion now accepted was once eccentric.”

Thanks for hangin’ out. For an explanation of the blog’s title check out the first post.

Peace,

  1. Hey. One hell of an eccentric group here. We are experimenting with making an internet TV show in our basement in Vancouver Canada. Please check it out and hit me back.

  2. Pretension is good; as long as you don’t rely on it for it’s own self serving purpose. Love your blog. You may be an expert though, and not even realise it.

    Have fun
