PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR! WAVE ‘EM LIKE YOU JUST DON’T CARE!

hands air

Wave your hand in front of you. Notice the “motion blur.” You are moving your hands too fast for your eyes to focus on. If you do it really fast it looks like a staccato blur of many fingers. What you are doing is exposing relativity. Now try to talk through the waving hand. Even your voice is broken up! Your hand is “denser” than the air so it moves through it with little resistance. Your voice is sound vapor and it is moving too slow to make it through the blur of hands so only portions get through.
